Note from the conference organising committee: Mantra Chatswood is also located in a suburb called Chatswood (the other option in Chatswood is the Sebel). Chatswood is one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse suburbs in Sydney, with more than 60% of its residents speaking a language other than English. According to the recent census data, the languages other than English spoken at home, ranked by size, include Mandarin (23.3%), Cantonese (12.3%), Korean (4.8%), and Japanese (3.0%). From Chatswood Metro station, it takes less than 10 minutes to reach Macquarie University Metro station. Compared to Mercure Sydney Macquarie University, you can easily access a lot more amenities (including restaurants and shops) by staying in Chatswood. Mantra Chatswood is a more affordable option than the Sebel Chatswood.
